PCMAN – Finally, an update on Microsoft 365 that would make creating presentation less painful and boring with the newly introduced design tools on Microsoft’s PowerPoint. PowerPoint has an existing number of graphic tools and templates, but users do not utilize these features perhaps because it is far from being urban or modern, making presentations somehow boring. However, the newly introduced design tools, Designer and Morph, are expected to add a little spice into the user’s presentation creation journey.
Kirk Koenigsbauer, the corporate vice president of Office 365 Client Applications at Microsoft stated that PowerPoint Designer and Morph are new intelligent tools that work for the users by automating the creation of slides and presentations, helping everyone get more out of Office. It is a cloud-powered recommendation engine and smart animation technology, where it will help the users create polished slides and captivating motion effects with just a few quick steps.
The Designer tool’s main goal is to provide high quality slides that benefits from machine learning and Microsoft’s cloud for processing images and picking appropriate layout for images. It supports drag-and-drop, and it will display design ideas that will guide the user to create a beautiful presentation.
Microsoft is also planning to introduce automatic color options, a feature that will pick prominent colors present in an image while adjusting the style of the slide. This feature will help users save time in cropping and applying color effects manually.
Microsoft worked with professional graphic designers who helped them develop more than 12,000 creative blueprints. The Designer tool is smart, proven by its ability to analyze and identify images that the users add, and then giving out suggestions on which blueprint is the best to use.
With the Morph tool, users will be able to create slide animations smoothly. It has the ability to animate 3D shapes, images and text. It also has PowerPoint’s latest transition effect, which will automatically determine the animations the user desire, and apply it afterwards. The Morph tool can also create cinematic motion by seamlessly animating between the slides.
These new exciting tools are made exclusively only for Office 365 subscribers who are using Windows 10, or the full desktop version of Microsoft PowerPoint. Meanwhile, other platforms will receive updates in the upcoming months.
